I have a huge stack of tees in three colors: white, grey and black.  I love them.  I wear them with everything and love how they can easily be dressed up despite their casual style.  I’ve said it a million times on this blog and will continue saying it: if an article of clothing is versatile, I buy it.  I had really wanted to wear this simple black long-sleeve tee and full midi skirt with a statement necklace like this one here, but unfortunately I did not have a necklace similar.  So Instead, I chose to layer fun bracelets, put on a pair of sparkly stud earrings, and don a bold lip.  I added my favorite plaid scarf for dimension.  The result was a simple but fun holiday look :)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Happy Monday!  Lately I’ve found myself gravitating towards blue and grey hues, particularly navy and pale shades of grey.  I’m still all about floral prints, so the combination of neutrals and pop of blue in this Eight Sixty midi skirt really caught my eye. A printed skirt would definitely add a little punch to my otherwise mostly solid, minimally patterned work wardrobe.  I’ve always been a fan of prints, I just tend to buy simpler pieces as they’re more versatile and timeless.  I do think this skirt, however, is a versatile piece as it can be worn not only for work, but also casually with a simple tee and leather jacket on the weekends, or with sleek black stilettos and a black blouse for date night.  For this office look, I paired the skirt with a feminine ivory blouse, simple suede pumps, and a gorgeous navy suede tote.  I added a delicate statement necklace and subtle pink lip color to finish off the look :)

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Happy Wednesday!  Today’s look is a versatile style for the summer.  A simple crop top and a flowy midi skirt can be worn for multiple occasions:  a lunch date, a picnic, an outdoor party or barbecue, or even for running errands on the weekends.  If you want to switch up your casual wear for something a bit more fun and feminine, this skirt is a great piece to have in your wardrobe.  You’ll find it in more colors here, as well!  To finish the look, I added these beautiful embellished sandals; I like how they dress up the look but are comfortable enough to walk around in all day :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday celebrating your mothers, and possibly celebrating being a mother yourself :)

Today’s look is another daytime look for this ‘Travel In Style’ collection.  Since the first few looks were more casual, I wanted to introduce a day look that was a bit more dressy and feminine.  I created this look with both classic and trendy pieces that can be styled various ways.  A straw fedora is a great spring and summer accessory allowing you to fashionably keep the sun from your face.  A denim jacket is a staple, and it’s the perfect lightweight option for layering this time of year and for cooler summer nights.  A simple black and white striped top is also a staple and a classic item to have in your wardrobe; it can be paired with anything, and can be worn all year-long.  A cut-out midi skirt is very trendy right now, but it’s a trend that I feel is worth the purchase.  Midi skirts themselves are very classic and fashionable everywhere, and this cut-out fabric will make it your go-to skirt all season.  A Longchamp bag is a beautiful and simple handbag; I tend to gravitate towards designs that are classic and can be worn through the years.   This Longchamp bag is an elegant twist on an everyday tote.   To finish out the look, I chose a classic wayfarer, a pretty pink lip color, and a pair of really fun, embellished, strappy sandals :)
