Happy Wednesday!  From all black to all white, monotone looks will always be my default.  On weekends especially, I’m usually looking for something easy.  Keeping it simple and adding interest with a pop of color or a subtle print will always be what I’m most comfortable in.  Whenever I can’t decide what to wear, I turn to my staple items in neutral colors.  This sweater is so soft and warm, yet lightweight.  These distressed white jeans have that broken-in feel and offer tons of stretch, so they’re really tempting to wear with just about everything!  To dress up the look a bit, I paired my outfit with simple nude heels and metallic accessories :)

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  I’m sharing an all black casual look today from over the weekend.  My New Balance 410s are my go-to shoes for running around on the weekends.  Also, I love how comfortable this dress is.  It allows me to look and feel put together without sacrificing comfort.  You could easily dress it up with flat or heeled sandals as well.  It does wrinkle a bit, but easily irons out and honestly it doesn’t look as wrinkled in person as it does it these photos!  I was really quite surprised by how it photographed because it appears much smoother in person.  I topped off the look with a classic leather jacket (since the weather can’t make up it’s mind here).

Happy Thursday!  I hope you’re all having a great week :)  Today I’m sharing another black and white office look with one of my favorite pencil skirts.  Last year I purchased my first pair of Banana Republic’s Sloan-Fit dress pants and loved the fit.  I love how the material is a bit thicker but has the perfect amount of stretch.  Since then, I’ve purchased two of their Sloan-Fit dresses and, more recently, this striped pencil skirt.  I adore the dresses and they’re my classic go-to dresses for every professional or conservative occassion.  They fit like a glove, and the very same goes for this skirt!  I love the stripes which add some interest without being too overwhelming – the perfect balance of black and white.
