I’m with Cupid.  I love seeing people in love.  I love seeing people celebrating being in love. Basically, I love love…everything about it. There are few free things in this world that make us feel happy and complete, and love is pretty high at the top of that list for me.  So to help observe the month of love, I’ve put together a few pretty accessories to help get you in the spirit for Valentine’s Day. Happy Wednesday!  Today’s look is a versatile style for the summer.  A simple crop top and a flowy midi skirt can be worn for multiple occasions:  a lunch date, a picnic, an outdoor party or barbecue, or even for running errands on the weekends.  If you want to switch up your casual wear for something a bit more fun and feminine, this skirt is a great piece to have in your wardrobe.  You’ll find it in more colors here, as well!  To finish the look, I added these beautiful embellished sandals; I like how they dress up the look but are comfortable enough to walk around in all day :)

Well guys, this is about as girly as it gets for me.  Pink, ruffles, and butterflies??  This may be the first and last time you ever see such a thing.  Although I’m definitely more of a girly girl, I tend to lean towards neutral colors and classic prints.  However, when my mom showed me these adorable kate spade rain boots she scored at Marshall’s, I thought they were too cute not to showcase on the blog.  Also, I love the tiered ruffles on this trench coat — they’re a really fun addition to a classic rainwear style.  Perhaps it was the grey, rainy weather that inspired me to pair this look with a pop of bright pink :)

Happy Monday everyone :)  I suppose I’m still gravitation towards pale pinks and blush tones.  I think this color family is a great way to subtlety transition our work wardrobes into spring.  I can’t wait to begin incorporating floral prints, but for now, I’ll take small steps with touches of pink, or maybe even mint :) I hope you all had a great weekend!
