Hey everyone!  I hope you all had a great weekend :)  I was really enjoying the beautiful weather since I knew the week was going to start out with storms and rain.  It was so nice being able to step out in sandals (light-colored at that), and to break out my white blazer again.  The weather has been up and down quite a bit lately, and I am so ready for summer to be here and to stay.  To start the season right, I thought these blush colored sandals would be a great addition to my summer wardrobe.  I can see many possibilities and a bright future for these beauties!

Layers are key here lately, with the never-ending snow and frigid temps.  I’ve been layering with my fur vest or this down vest almost every day.  I usually have some form of sweater or cardigan underneath, and then it’s dress pants or jeans for me.  I think I’ve forgotten what it’s like to wear a skirt or a dress…or dress heels (the loves of my life).  Although I miss being able to get dressed up, I’m all for comfort these days. Plus, I’ve managed to make it this far through the winter season without getting sick!!! (knock on wood)

Happy Friday everyone :)  I put this look together as a flat lay on instagram the other day, and I was finally able to take pictures wearing one of my outfits of the day so that you could see it styled.  In other words, I finally found a friend brave enough to take my pictures in the freezing cold!  The tricky part about blogging isn’t styling warm and comfortable, yet still chic, outfits in the winter.  It’s being able to find a partner in crime who’s willing to freeze their butt off for me!!  But seriously, this oversized wool turtleneck sweater is my new favorite thing in the world.  It’s so comfortable, and it’s perfect for running around on the weekends while keeping you warm.  I’m crossing my fingers that they re-stock so I can buy it in the black as well!
