Happy Monday :)  Today’s look is inspired by this past weekend’s beautiful, sunny warm weather.  I wanted so badly to put on a cute summer dress and floppy straw hat, pack a basket, and go to the park for an afternoon picnic.  Then I came across this dress at J.Crew and knew I had to style a look with it. The thin stripe print and seersucker texture of this feminine dress makes it a perfect option for a stroll through the park and a little romantic picnic.  I paired this dress with these lovely silver and white flats; I love the slight ’50s flair they have to them, which complements the full skirt of the dress. I wanted to add a pop of pink since the look is so whimsical and feminine, and I’m loving the subtle pop of color this moisturizing lip balm offers. This floppy straw hat is a perfect addition to this look and will keep your face shaded from the sun while remaining fashionable.  I added a summery mini tote to hold the essentials, a charming daytime perfume to keep you feeling fresh and pretty all afternoon, and the sweetest little necklace to tie together this romantic look :) Thank you for stopping by!

{Travel In Style: Europe} Look no. 2 + 3

{Travel In Style} | Plum Pearls{Sunnies} Ray-Ban // {Tee} J.Crew // {Shorts} AE // {Sneakers} New Balance // {Watch} kate spade new york // {Crossbody Bag} Tory Burch // {Nail Polish} Essie ‘Watermelon’ // {Top} ZARA // {Denim} LOFT // {Slip-Ons} GAP

Hey everyone, I hope you’re all having a wonderful week so far!  While Monday’s outfit was an ‘airport/travel look,’ today I’ve put together two daytime ‘sight-seeing looks’ which can be worn as I’ve paired them, but can also be mixed and re-matched to create two additional looks: the mint tee could be paired with the white denim and either pair of sneakers, and the navy top could easily be paired with the denim midi shorts, and also with either pair of sneakers.  Any of the four looks could also be paired with these sandals shown from look no. 1 on Monday.  When traveling, most likely you’ll be doing a lot of walking around and sight-seeing, so I think having a great pair of comfortable sneakers is a travel essential.  However, depending on the weather, your feet can get really hot, so you should always have a pair of sandals that wont kill your feet after a long day of walking.

Another travel essential is a crossbody bag.  Let’s face it, we tend to over-pack our bags with more than we need ladies.  I honestly feel like Mary Poppins some days.  Or I feel like a walking convenience store.  A crossbody will force you to pack only the essentials, and will help prevent your shoulder from hating you after only a couple of hours exploring!

Happy Wednesday!
