Happy Thursday!  I hope you’re all having a great week :)  Today I’m sharing another black and white office look with one of my favorite pencil skirts.  Last year I purchased my first pair of Banana Republic’s Sloan-Fit dress pants and loved the fit.  I love how the material is a bit thicker but has the perfect amount of stretch.  Since then, I’ve purchased two of their Sloan-Fit dresses and, more recently, this striped pencil skirt.  I adore the dresses and they’re my classic go-to dresses for every professional or conservative occassion.  They fit like a glove, and the very same goes for this skirt!  I love the stripes which add some interest without being too overwhelming – the perfect balance of black and white.

Today’s look is all about classics, with a touch of trend.  A black and white striped top is a staple item for your wardrobe, as well as a classic-cut black dress pant and simple black heels.  These three pieces are so versatile you’ll find yourself wanting multiples as they pair with everything and will be your go-to pieces for casual, office, and evening looks.  Wear them separately with just about anything, or wear them all together for a simple yet sophisticated look.  For my trendy piece, I accessorized with a minimal black leather bucket bag (definitely my new favorite handbag!).

Today’s look is another one of my signature monochrome styles, broken up with a geometric print for some interest.  I also love the subtle texture of this super soft sweater along with the mock neck detail; the light ribbing at the hems and shoulders set this sweater apart from your typical grey wool sweater.  I paired the look with silver metallic flats to add a little fun :)
